Steve joined Southdown in late 2014 as Head of ICT having gained valuable experience working in various ICT disciplines over the last 25 years.
Having started out on the Service Desk, Steve gradually worked his way up through various roles and has now managed ICT Departments within the not for profit sector for the last 15 years. Previously, Steve worked for CGL where he managed the IT systems for over 10 years.
Steve is responsible for setting and delivering Southdown’s ICT strategy and is committed to ensuring that Southdown’s ICT systems remain secure, efficient and effective, enabling staff to perform to the best of their ability.
Steve says “Delivering secure, reliable and robust ICT systems to provide staff with the mobility and flexibility they require, without being overly prescriptive or controlling is always challenging in any business, especially for ‘not for profit’ organisations in this financial climate.
