Tim joined Southdown in January 2007 as Corporate Administration and Facilities Manager. His role has developed over the past nine years to meet the changing needs of the organisation, and the 'administration' part of his job title was recently changed to 'risk' to reflect an increased emphasis on assessing and managing risk.
Before joining Southdown Tim worked as a senior administrator and project manager in a number of private and public sector organisations and has over 30 years’ experience in these fields.
He is a qualified PRINCE2 project management practitioner and holds the Institute of Risk Management’s International Risk Management Certificate. The main focus of his role is to support the organisation in ensuring that risk, including health and safety, is understood and effectively managed, projects are well planned and meet objectives, and office facilities are fit for purpose and cost effective.
Tim says, “Having systems and processes in place that underpin the stability and effective management of our organisation ensures that front line staff can focus on Southdown’s key objective of supporting vulnerable people to lead a fuller life.”
