Vikki became the Deputy Chief Executive in April 2014. Joining Southdown in 1996, she has worked in a number of senior central services roles, most recently as Executive Director of Business.
Previously, Vikki worked in a variety of public and voluntary sector organisations including the NHS, housing associations, local authorities and charities. Originally trained as a psychologist, then later as a manager, trainer, HR specialist and Organisational Development practitioner, she has over 30 years’ experience working for organisations that provide support to vulnerable people.
Vikki is committed to ensuring that both the staff and systems underpinning Southdown’s operational services are of high quality and cost effective. As Deputy Chief Executive, Vikki leads on corporate management and is the Company Secretary.
She says, "In everything we do, we need to make sure that we come back to our main purpose; helping vulnerable people to lead fulfilled and independent lives. I apply the 'value to clients’ rule of thumb to all corporate systems and initiatives, asking the question ‘how does this add value to the services people receive?”
