Purchase Ledger Specialist

Salary: £24,722-£26,158 per year

Hours: 37 per week

Job Description:

An opportunity has arisen within our Finance Department for a full time Purchase Ledger Specialist.

Main duties will include:

  • Maintaining an effective Purchase Ledger system, in line with established financial policies procedures
  • Manual processing of transactions and direct uploading of batches of invoices onto the Ledger
  • Responsible for the regular processing of Payment runs via BACS
  • Maintenance of Bank Mandate records and managing debit card applications in connection to the Association’s bank accounts
  • Assisting the Manager Financial Control with the preparation of monthly accruals and deferrals schedules (re Purchase Ledger)
  • Filing and archiving of a range of financial records
