Do you want a career that is rewarding and helps make a difference to homelessness in Brighton & Hove?

Who Are We?

The Transition & Resettlement team works in partnership with Brighton & Hove City Council’s Homeless services and other key agencies across the city as part of the local strategy to reduce homelessness.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for motivated individuals to support people with a history of homelessness and complex needs to move into their own homes, make their tenancy a success, and to make positive and lasting changes in their lives.

You will be given your own caseload of clients to manage, and support will be delivered either in the community or in their own home.  You will be working as part of a team with an office base in central Brighton & Hove.

The successful candidate will have a dynamic approach to working with people who have experienced trauma and homelessness. Flexibility, resourcefulness and resilience are key to the role.

What do we offer

This is a varied role that gives you the opportunity to gain a lot of knowledge and experience of housing and support service and best practice ways of working. We welcome applications from people either with experience or the passion and ability to learn – we would love to hear from you!

We offer a supportive working environment, commitment to work-life balance, friendly team, and generous staff benefits.

Full induction, training, supervision, and support is provided for all staff.

Closing date for applications:         10th October 2022

Interviews will be held on:               19th October 2022
