We’d like to congratulate our team at The Lighthouse; a specialist service for adults living in Brighton and Hove experiencing Personality Disorder and Emotional Intensity problems.
Last night (Wednesday 17th March) they attended the Health Service Journal (HSJ) Awards after being announced a finalist in the Integrated Care Partnership of the Year category.
The HSJ Awards have been celebrating excellence in healthcare for 40 years and drive innovation and better service in the sector. It’s a real honour for us to be recognised and we thank every single person who has contributed to making The Lighthouse the incredible service it is.
Southdown provides this specialist service in partnership with the Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust and Mind in Brighton and Hove, and it is part of the Community Roots network in the city.
Alfie Sheppard, Team Manager at The Lighthouse, said:
“Being nominated felt like we had already won – having recognition of the work we do in partnership and being able to show what we have achieved and how we have managed to continue providing the service online during the pandemic.”
