Southdown is a registered social landlord specialising in supported housing, with more than 50 years’ experience providing homes across Sussex.
We work with local authorities and other partners to help people access homes that meet their needs.
We know a safe, stable home can make a lasting difference—giving people space to recover, build confidence and plan for the future.
We help tenants manage their tenancy and maintain their home. We also work with them to keep homes safe and well maintained, listen to their views and respond to their needs.
Long-term housing
Our affordable rented homes offer a settled place to live, with support to help tenants manage their tenancy and maintain their home.
We work with local councils to allocate our long-term homes across Sussex.
How to access:
To be considered for a Southdown tenancy, you need to be on your local council’s housing register.
When a home becomes available, the council nominates an eligible person.
Contact your council’s Housing Options team to discuss your housing needs. Explain any support you need to manage a tenancy so they can consider suitable housing options.
Southdown does not hold its own waiting list or accept direct applications.
