A safe, stable home can be the foundation for so much more.

Southdown began with housing more than 50 years ago. Today, we are a registered social landlord and an experienced provider of housing support across Sussex. We provide different types of affordable housing from temporary accommodation to a long term home.

As a landlord, we work with tenants to keep homes safe, well maintained and suitable for their needs. Our specialist housing support helps people facing homelessness, moving on from hospital or supported accommodation, or needing help to keep their home.

We work alongside people to understand their tenancy, manage practical challenges, build confidence and feel more settled in their home and community.

Through HOLD, we also help eligible people with long-term disabilities explore shared home ownership.
