Staying Well

Brighton & Hove
East Sussex
Walk-in, out-of-hours support for adults who are experiencing mental distress, feel unable to cope, or need help during a mental health crisis.

How to access

Walk in without an appointment

Open 7 days a week, 365 days a year, Staying Well provides psychosocial support within a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment.

Southdown’s three Staying Well services now operate as walk-in centres, so people experiencing a self-defined mental health crisis (for example, feeling at breaking point and in need of urgent help) can access support without needing an appointment.

Our team consists of a Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust Mental Health Practitioner, recovery specialists, and peer workers. They are on hand to provide non-judgmental support tailored to your needs – whether that’s simply listening or helping you reduce emotional and psychological distress.

Staying Well is provided by Southdown, in partnership with the Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.
