Alice took on the role of Communications Manager in May 2014. Previously, she worked as Head of Public Relations at national health and social care charity, Sue Ryder, for 7 years. Before that, she worked in a number of PR agencies working across the consumer, business to business and voluntary sectors.

In her role as Communications Manager, Alice is committed to raising awareness and understanding of the housing, care and support Southdown provides for people in Sussex.

She says, “Working alongside my colleagues and clients of Southdown’s services, I help promote Southdown’s wide range of services as well as the job opportunities to join the organisation. As part of this, my team and I are priviledged to share the experiences of people who access Southdown services, helping to not only promote the support we provide but to challenge stereotypes and stigma surrounding mental health illness, learning disabilities and homelessness.”
