Introducing Brighton & Hove Recovery College’s NEW Annual Prospectus and Autumn term

Brighton and Hove Recovery College, offer educational courses as a route to recovery from mental health challenges. All their courses are FREE and designed and delivered by people with lived experience of mental health challenges, together with clinical staff and other professionals.

The College is provided in partnership with the Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust and as part of the UOK Brighton & Hove network of mental health support.

To provide students with more information about the College and other Mental Health services, they have launched a new Annual Prospectus which will cover the Autumn 2022, Spring 2023 and Summer 2023 terms. This will be accompanied by a separate timetable document each term detailing dates, times and venues.

The College is a fantastic and inspiring local resource that uses learning and education courses to support people to develop their own resourcefulness to manage their own, or their loved ones, mental health recovery journey.

At the College, we appreciate the value of all types of learning, be that academic, personal development, creative, wellbeing or being in nature. The main aim is that the experience should be engaging, fun and supportive.”

The College will be introducing several new titles in the upcoming year including, Recovery Workshop, Food & Mood, Health Reset, Developing Self-Esteem, Understanding and Managing Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) and more.

The Autumn term will run from 26th September to 2nd December 2022. There’s lots of additional support for anyone who’d like to find out more before applying or may be apprehensive about attending. starting with an Open Day event at The Brighthelm Centre on Tuesday 6th September, from 11am – 3pm.

The enrolment window for Autumn term runs from Tuesday 6th September until Monday 19th September.
