Support and services provided at the Centre
Preston Park Recovery Centre provides a welcoming and supportive environment in which people with mental health support needs can learn new skills and get involved in a variety of groups and activities. The Centre also provides access to a specialist employment service, a welfare benefits service and can refer onto other services as appropriate such as housing and health.
Recovery Action Plan
Our Recovery team provide individual support. Trained staff can support you to develop your own personal Recovery Action Plan to help you achieve your goals. You can use the Centre to meet friends or get to know new people. There is also a café, free internet access and an art room which is open seven days a week including some evenings.
Group activities and community-based support
Our Recovery team can arrange to meet you at a place and time that suits you to ensure that every opportunity is given to access support. We provide flexible and tailored support including accompanying to attend activities and groups running across Brighton and Hove such as photography, yoga, bowling and a Mindful Art Group. How do I apply?
We accept self-referrals and referrals from people and organisations on behalf of individuals. However, currently due to high demand for support at Preston Park Recovery Centre, we’re not accepting any referrals at the moment. We will start accepting referrals again from 3rd January 2019 and you’ll be able to make online referrals from this page via a link from this date. Please check back again then to make a referral.
